I knew that I had to embrace AI to avoid that I would become a dinosaur in the coaching industry. Whether you like AI or not, it is becoming a reality in every profession and industry.
So, I decided to jump on board: I created Hans AI.
Hans AI is an AI version of me that does not only answer questions about my services but can conduct deep coaching conversations. It’s scary how good it is. Well, most of the time, as it is still learning.
Here’s how I brought Hans AI to life:
1. I started with a ChatGPT app designed to generate coaching-style conversational outputs rather than just providing answers. Since my AI is based on ChatGPT, it knows so much more than I.
2. I uploaded my own content, for example, my career coaching book, key blogs, articles and FAQs about me and my services.
3. I told the AI what tone and coaching style I use, including what phrases I prefer when I affirm, challenge or question.
4. I trained the AI on my content, tweaking and refining its responses to align with my voice and style.
5. I engaged in test conversations, correcting and guiding the AI to speak like me. This is still a work in progress.
It takes patience and persistence to train an AI, and you really need to know what exactly to upload and how to present your content to the AI.
