Engaging team events, built brick by brick.
A facilitated workshop where everybody builds and everybody shares. Using LEGO® Serious Play®, your team explores its vision, values, goals and ideas through hands-on models — with no passive bystanders in the room.
What is LEGO® Serious Play®?
LEGO® Serious Play® is a well-established team facilitation technique, made available by the LEGO® Group under an open-source Creative Commons licence. Participants are guided through a series of themed building challenges using the famous LEGO® bricks.
Building with your hands unlocks thinking that talking alone rarely reaches. The models become a shared language — making abstract ideas visible, and giving everyone in the room an equal voice.
Particularly useful for workshops aimed at:
Teambuilding
Setting team goals
Creating a team vision
Exploring team values
Generating new ideas
No passive bystanders.
Unlike many team events, nobody leans back and disengages. The method is built so that every person in the room takes part — every single round.
Everybody participates
Each person takes part in every building challenge — there is no opting out and no audience.
Everybody builds
Each person builds their own model in response to the question posed — their own answer, in their own hands.
Everybody shares
Each person explains what their model means, and the team asks questions to understand it deeply.
Promotes creative thinking
Hands-on building loosens fixed thinking and surfaces fresh ideas.
Deeper, more inclusive conversations
Quieter voices are heard as clearly as the confident ones.
Actionable outcomes
Themes are captured and turned into concrete next steps — while having fun.
A memorable experience
Teams remember what they built together long after the day ends.
How a LEGO® Serious Play® event works.
We agree your objectives in advance, so the day is not just fun but genuinely productive.
Agree the objectives
Before the event we agree what you want it to achieve, so every challenge is built around your goals.
Build the challenges
I guide participants through a series of themed building challenges, each one a question to answer in bricks.
Share and question
Everyone explains their model and the team asks questions — surfacing ideas, thoughts and feelings.
Combine into one
To close, the team negotiates its individual models into a single shared model that keeps everyone’s contribution.
“Build a model that shows what your team will be famous for in 12 months’ time.”
Throughout the day I capture themes, thoughts and ideas on flipcharts, so they can be processed afterwards and turned into specific actions.
Models and moments from past events.

“It was a great experience.”
