Sometimes my life coaching clients feel “lost”, like a ship that travels without navigation system. Sounds familiar? We probably all have felt lost at times in our lives. This can easily happen when we do not have the following:
A CLEAR DESTINATION – Do you have specific goals for each area in your life (Mental, Emotional, Career, Physical, Financial, Relationship, Love and Spirituality)? If not, click here to download my FREE life planning workbook that will help you gain clarity about inspiring goals for your life.
A COMPASS – If you know what your highest values are, they will guide you in any decision. There will be actual evidence of what your highest values are. A good life coach can help you find them.
A GOOD MAP – Do your world maps support your goals? For example, if you maintain the belief that all men are incapable of loving, you may find it difficult to find a loving man. Your mind will make you experience a version of reality that supports your beliefs. If you have never taken stock of all the beliefs and narratives that run your life (and often limit your options!), it’s time to do some deep digging.
A CAPTAIN – If you don’t take control of your life, others will do it for you. You will be at the mercy of other people’s values and priorities, eg your employer, your family, your religion, your friends, the media etc. There is an endless list of people who want to control your life. Nobody will set boundaries for you, nobody will help you take charge of our own priorities. We need to do this ourselves. It starts by becoming clear of your priorities and then take conscious actions to pursue them.
