There’s a personal reason why I created it.
Like many of my career coaching clients, I once stayed in a career that was well paid but completely wrong for me. It didn’t inspire me; it drained the life out of me. It took a major burnout to give me the push I needed to create a better life for myself.
In 12 years as a career coach, I’ve noticed how rarely people step back to ask whether their career is still right for them. Too often, our careers simply happen to us. We may sense that something isn’t quite right, but few of us properly assess our work against our values, preferences and life goals. So we settle for good enough, or worse.
I built this assessment to make it easy to step back, take stock and see what may need to change.
