It was long overdue!
Against the advice of every marketer that I have ever spoken to, I have never really niched my career and life coaching business. After 10 years of coaching, I have now finally started the process by conducting a detailed review of my client base. I wrote a list of those clients with whom I created the best results and had the best relationship. Then I reminded myself of what exactly they came to me for. Obviously, they were common themes and I drew from them this list of the 20 most common coaching goals that my clients bring to me:
1. Find out what I really want in my career and life
2. Create a better work-life balance
3. Plan my next career move
4. Increase my confidence
5. Develop my leadership potential
6. Manage my boss
7. Learn to say no and create healthy boundaries
8. Create more purpose and meaning in my career
9. Become a better team leader
10. Manage conflicts more effectively
11. Understand my skills and strengths
12. Increase my salary/get promoted
13. Improve stakeholder management
14. Create a professional brand
15. Manage my impact on others
16. Increase my fulfilment and joy at work
17. Delegate more effectively
18. Be more productive and effective
19. Gain respect and gravitas
20. Improve my communication skills
Although I have also been coaching on many other professional and personal topics, this list represents what’s most important to my core client base, and probably also what I am best at.
If anything on this list resonates with you too, let’s talk. This is at the very core of what I do every day. You can book a FREE Discovery Call here: https://hansschumann.com/book-an-appointment
