This simple test shows us how we can miss things in life when our focus is not in the right place.
It’s like when you consider making a significant purchase, for example a new car. Have you noticed that the more you think of the model you want to buy, the more you suddenly see it everywhere? It’s not that there are more cars of that model on the streets. You simply notice them more often now because you have shifted your focus onto them.
What does this mean for your life?
If you only have a vague idea of what you want, you won’t know where to look or may even miss it even if it’s right in front of your eyes. That’s one of the many reasons why it makes sense to define what you want in each area of your life.
