Some people have asked me why I use the chestnut picture in the branding for my life coaching business.
The answer is that the image is very dear to my heart. Partly because I took it myself at a turning point in my life, when I finally was strong enough to go out for a walk again after two years of serious illness. More importantly though, the image symbolises what life coaching means to me:
INVESTMENT:
Life coaching is like an investment in our life. It’s like planting a seed.
POTENTIAL:
Just like the chestnut seed has the potential to grow into a tall and strong tree, we have incredible potential to be so much more than we are now. Coaching helps you to realise this potential.
BREAKTHROUGH:
Like the chestnut seed, we have a shell that keeps us safe, but it also holds us back from growing. We need to break through our layers of fears, beliefs and self-sabotage to unlock our potential. It’s hard to see what needs to be done. A coach by your side can take you through the process.
TRANSFORMATION:
If we are brave enough to leave the shell behind and make us vulnerable, we can transform our life in any way we wish. It starts with a transformation of the way we perceive ourselves and the world around us. A coach will reflect back to what they notice abbot you and also shine a light on these you may not yet be aware of.
GUIDANCE:
As a life coach I can guide you through this powerful process. I will hold the space for you like the Buddha holds the chestnut in the photo.
I love this process and the results it can create.
